Yesterday, we celebrated the final day of the Baby Ghosts peer accelerator with Cohort 3 🥲
All five of our studios graduated after six months of digging in deep with values, structures, challenges, and breakthroughs. 🙌🏻
Here are some of our reflections on these amazing teams (anonymized as we continue to protect their privacy during a harassment campaign):
One co-op has consistently communicated their desire to incorporate their values into every aspect of what they do, unafraid to ask for support from the community when they need it. We learned a lot from them and their dedication to each other. 🌳
An Alberta studio is dedicated to getting it right while navigating the boundaries of capitalism and industry that otherwise would force them into a box. They work so hard to amplify their community, and we know they’ll continue to envision their place within it with clarity. ☄️
For an Ontario team, the dream is big, necessary, and within sight. They are consciously slowing down to reflect on how their capacity, supports, priorities, and goals have a profound effect on their collective momentum. And their time is definitely coming. 🌍
The intimacy of the collaboration between the two members of our smallest studio helped them deeply explore their values around collectivity. It will become profoundly lived as they make more of their process and ideas visible to their creative partners and audiences. 🏔️
Finally: Persevering through disgusting shit is hard enough without working to remake something magical into something that can be sustained collectively. We so appreciate this big team (with big hearts) participating in and supporting our community efforts to stay safe. 🍬
