Ontario's first dedicated support infrastructure for cooperative game studios. Governance education, peer mentorship, and Ontario-specific resources to build sustainable, worker-owned businesses.
What the Hub Does
Cooperative Foundations is a 10-week program of structured workshops, weekly studio mentorship from experienced cooperative founders, and community events for Ontario-based game studios. Studios enter without shared governance language or structures and leave with the foundations to build lasting, equitable working relationships.
Ontario-specific content covers regional tax incentives, cooperative legislation, incorporation pathways, and local funding.

The Hub serves early-stage Ontario-based game studios with 2–7 members, led by founders from equity-deserving communities, at or before the stage of legal incorporation.

We're building a network of Ontario organizations studios can connect to during and after the program, including industry associations, academic programs, co-op sector bodies, incubators, and equity-focused creative orgs.
